What we do

Capital, deployed with conviction across four areas

Kilverstone is structured as a private holdings and advisory group. We invest our own principal capital and advise on the transactions that define a business's next chapter — always with a long horizon and a bias for alignment over complexity.

01 — Principal investing

Operating businesses

Significant minority or majority stakes in profitable, established companies with defensible positions and management worth backing.

02 — Venture & growth

Venture & growth capital

Structured minority equity in scaling businesses — the patient capital that bridges ambition and endurance without forcing premature exits.

03 — Real assets

Real assets

Direct holdings in property and infrastructure-linked assets, selected for durable income and long-term capital preservation.

04 — Advisory

Strategic advisory

M&A, capital structure and succession advisory — often delivered alongside principal capital, so counsel carries real conviction.

Why Kilverstone

The terms owners actually care about

We are not a fund with a clock. We are permanent capital paired with people who have run and owned businesses — which changes the conversations that matter.

i. Patient, permanent capital

No fixed fund life, no pressure to harvest before a business is ready. We hold for the right outcome, on the right timeline.

ii. Operator-led judgment

Investment decisions are made by people who have built, financed and operated companies — not only modelled them.

iii. Alignment by design

Our capital sits alongside owners, not over them. Structures are built to keep founders and management in control of what matters.

iv. Absolute discretion

Confidentiality is the default on every conversation. Many of our most important relationships are never publicly disclosed.

How we work

A disciplined path from first conversation to long-term stewardship

01

Understand

We start with the business and the people behind it — history, ambitions, constraints and the question the owners actually need answered. No templates, no preconceived structure.

02

Underwrite

Commercial and financial diligence focused on what drives durability: customers, unit economics, management and the moat. We move with rigour, not theatre.

03

Align

We design terms that align capital with the owners' objectives — governance, control, time horizon and exit are agreed openly before anything is signed.

04

Steward

After closing we stay close — strategic support, governance, networks and hard-earned operational help — while leaving day-to-day control firmly with management.

05

Realise

When the time is right for the business and its owners, we plan transitions and successions thoughtfully — to a successor, a buyer, the next generation, or the public markets.

Our position

A holding company is not a portfolio of trades. It is a set of long obligations to the businesses and people you back.

We invest as the owners of businesses, not the tenants of a fund. Capital should buy time and optionality — not a countdown. The Kilverstone investment principle
Questions & answers

What owners most often ask first

A short selection. For the full set of answers — on structures, sectors, timelines and confidentiality — see our FAQ.

What exactly is Kilverstone?
Kilverstone is a private investment and advisory group headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It deploys its own principal capital into businesses and real assets, and advises founders, families and boards on succession, M&A and capital structure. It operates its UAE interests through European Technical, based in Dubai.
Do you take majority or minority stakes?
Both, depending on the business and the owners' goals. For established operating companies we will often take a significant minority or majority position; in younger, growth-stage businesses we typically take structured minority stakes. Every structure is built around the people, not a house template.
How long do you hold investments?
As long as the right answer takes. Because we invest permanent capital rather than running a fund with a fixed life, there is no clock forcing a sale. Many of our relationships are designed to be multi-generational.
Is the first conversation confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is the default on every conversation, and we are happy to put an NDA in place before any detail is shared. Call 050 168 5444, message us on WhatsApp, or write to info@kilverstone.net.

Considering capital, a transition, or both?

The most useful first step is usually an off-the-record conversation. Tell us where the business is today and where you would like it to go.
